If data is characterized as recorded facts, then information is the set of patterns, or expectations, that underline the data. There is a huge amount of information locked up in databases - Information this is potentially important but has not yet been discovered or articulated.

Machine learning provides the technical basis of data mining. It is used to extract information from raw data in databases.

Theano: Deep Learning. Theano is a Python library that allows you to define, optimize, and evaluate mathematical expressions involving multi-dimensional arrays efficiently. Theano is really cool, and saves a lot of programming, training, and test time.
